Join our mission and use your creativity to create meaningful change in the world.Are you ready?The Project Management Director serves as PM Lead with a four person Pod. You are the central resource responsible for planning and executing accounts. In this role you will maintain the flow of information and drive the plan to execute against desired outcomes. The other members of the Pod consist of an Account Lead, Strategy Lead and Creative Lead. Within the team you act as the centralized point of communication for an account/project and the keeper of all information pertaining to each account. You act as the "objective participant" and are able to assess all jobs in progress, prioritizing workloads, maintaining project communications and schedules, and streamlining the process so that all work can be done in the most efficient manner possible while maintaining creative integrity. You are responsible for managing and measuring all costs and time associated with a project, from the perspective of both timeline/schedules and team hours/effort. You build master timelines and define project scopes by estimating hours and job costs against an approved list of deliverables and are ultimately accountable for account profitability for the agency. You are responsible for managing the Pod budget and for reporting key vitals to the C-Suite and Executive Leadership Team.Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main internal access point for all account communication
  • Review and actively manage budgets, project plans, and SOWs with an understanding of best practices, potential third-party capabilities, time requirements, and broader account business objectives
  • Document and communicate account status and manage status meetings
  • Develop all account schedules in conjunction with Strategy, Creative and Account, and enforce each schedule throughout the life of the account
  • Understand, track and communicate Creative team workload to facilitate quick turnaround, resource planning and accurate allocation
  • Strong leader capable of building relationships, communicating ideas, and providing thoughtful, clear, actionable direction to team members and clients
  • Responsible for the operation, customization and improvement of team processes necessary for each account's business needs
  • Work with other leads to maximize operational efficiencies and define processes on the team and account levels
  • Nurture cross-functional agency relationships and be the ultimate problem solver to deliver work to Clients
  • Manages internal practitioners and creative freelance contractors across multiple projects, including sourcing necessary resources, payment negotiation, timeline expectations, etc.
  • Provide strategic account planning and oversight on a variety of creative work, including brand creative, websites & digital experiences, social content, digital videos, events, etc.
  • Deep experience with scope and contract writing
  • Partner effectively with production teams for all mediums to achieve goals
  • Prioritize deliverables in a way that makes sense for the client and internal team
  • Manage day-to-day tasks to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Assess risks and get ahead of project issues by solving problems and working closely with teams to determine smart solutions
  • Estimate hours and level of effort necessary to complete project deliverables and achieve project goals
  • Project, track and analyze hours against agreed-upon budget and activity plan; manage the scope/hours and deliverables
  • Ensure that direct cost/out-of-pocket estimates are generated and approved in a timely manner and before any work begins
  • Route all creative/deliverables to appropriate team members for approval
  • Create, manage and monitor account plans and report to the C-Suite and Executive Leadership Team on overall account approaches, deliverables, staffing plans, schedules, KPI's and financialsSkills and Qualifications
    • Degree in project management and/or project management certifications are highly desirable
    • At least 8 years of experience in agency project planning or team leadership managing roles and evaluating resourcing needs
    • General overview knowledge of project management software
    • Strong numerical skills and competency in computer programs, particularly spreadsheets
    • Familiarity with financial statements and able to interpret and manage against a P&L
    • Vocal and inventive champion with the ability to break down complex tasks and create clarity from complexity
    • Highly organized, highly motivated, goal and detail-oriented self-starter who is passionate and experienced in all aspects of agency project management as it relates specifically to brand developmentSalary Range
