Job Description Summary:
The Assistant Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing engineering deliverables for multiple projects throughout design and construction stage internally and externally.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

• Understand and review electrical, structural, and civil engineering exhibits
• Explain and support engineering design to Owners, IEs as needed
• Review Scope of Work documents and redline as needed
  • Act as main engineering point of contact for owners for schedules, exhibit, design changes
  • Coordinate owner (and owner's engineer/independent engineer) submittals
    
    • Manage project data room (organize, upload/download documents)
    • Gather owner's comments and communicate them to engineering partners
    • Review responses to owner's comments
      • Respond to and resolve technical issues that occur in the course of design or construction
      • Review, QC, and comment on engineering bid deliverables
      • Organize meetings between SOLV and outside parties
      • Update and maintain engineering schedules and deliverables
      • Communicate project status to clients for all engineering deliverables
        • Coordinate design between electrical, structural, civil, HV, and SCADA teams
        • Keep up to date on various projects and track updates
        • Support engineering and procurement staff
        • Travel to job sites once a month (more as needed) Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
          • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Solar or Electrical focus preferred)
          • F.E required, P.E. preferred
          • Proficient in AUTOCAD
          • Proficient in P6
          • Ability to multitask and juggle responsibilities
          • Organized and detail oriented
          • Proficient in Microsoft's systems
          • Be a people person
          • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to change in a fast paced environment
          • Self-motivated
          • Excellent communication skills

            $91,520.00 - $137,280.00
