is seeking a Vice President, Product Manager - Advisor Experience
to join its' Compliance, Legal and Risk (CLR) organization. As a
trusted leader, you will drive outcomes, lead cross-functional
teams, and gain a deep understanding of client needs to create
strategic product roadmaps for CLR's client (advisor) facing
technology solutions.The ideal candidate for this role is client
focused, has a combination of strong business acumen, risk mindset,
and technology experience to lead development and delivery of
automation-based, cutting edge supervisory and transaction
monitoring solutions. You will leverage innovation and continuous
improvement methods to advance CLR's advisor facing products - with
the goal to create surprisingly delightful advisor experiences
through intuitive, easy to comply, and frictionless tools. The
Product Manager is critical to the aspiration of positioning CLR as
a competitive differentiator in the market and another leverage
point to help advisors grow and thrive with LPL.This team focuses
on the experiences of our Advisors, OSJs, home office personnel,
and the integration of capabilities across their workstations. You
will gain a full understanding of, and the ability to explain, all
aspects of our products/platforms while working with various
business units across the firm to manage and control risk. This
role will embrace strategic, entrepreneurial, analytical, product,
and project management skillsets to support scalable growth and
positioning across the entire wealth management
market.Responsibilities:
- Lead a small team of product owners to achieve desired outcomes
and experiences (e.g. risk management efficacy, advisor experience,
employee experience, efficiency, etc.) across CLR's advisor-facing
compliance and supervision monitoring platforms.
- Collaborate within CLR, Technology and key business leaders
across the firm to maintain alignment on vision, strategy, and
performance to goals, approaching strategy with an innovative
mindset to increase the value proposition of CLR products.
- Develop a deep understanding of the experiences and friction
advisors face during interactions with CLR's products.
- Incorporate knowledge of LPL's affiliation and business models,
and organic growth and M&A strategy, into multi-year roadmaps
and prioritization of product enhancements.
- Develop reporting, routines and key measures that communicate
progress, risks, and issues to drive continuous learning and
desired outcomes. Deliver results through repeatable, scalable
processes.
- Influence investment prioritization to deliver and maintain
minimally invasive, tailored solutions while ensuring LPL maintains
compliance with regulatory changes and new risks resulting from
LPL's M&A activity.What are we looking for?

- 7-10+ years of experience in risk related roles (eg compliance,
legal or risk) within financial services, preferably wealth
management. Extensive experience in supervision, surveillance,
product risk or regulatory risk related roles is preferred.
- Strong securities product knowledge and deep understanding of
respective suitability risks and fiduciary standards.
- 5+ years of developing, cultivating, and leading strong,
high-performing teams in an agile environment required. Direct
experience in product management roles, or close collaboration with
product management and/or technology teams is preferred.
- Expert communication skills, both written and oral, with
ability to present materials to the highest levels in the
organization and serve as one of the recognized product subject
matter experts on the team
- Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to interact and
influence senior leaders, including developing, presenting, and
gaining approval on business cases and funding requestsPreferences:
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to evaluate
business opportunities and results against established
objectives
- Actively anticipates, identifies, and manages risks; applies
appropriate judgment in escalating risk that matters.
- Expert consensus-builder who drives change across initiatives
within and outside direct accountability; facilitates critical
thinking to create solutions for the most complex business
challenges
- Achieve desired results in an extremely fast-paced
environment.
- Is excited to transform CLR's advisor-facing products to a
stage of maturity where frictional interactions become
opportunities for unexpected delight.Pay Range:
$120,520-$180,780/yearThe salary range is dependent on a number of
factors, including the applicant's skill, experience, and work
