The Senior Quality Manager oversees the Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinators, QA Specialists and the Quality Control team (Supervisor and Inspectors) who provide QC support to the San Diego site operations. The role will also provide support for client business reviews, investigations, complaints, CAPAs, inspections, product / material release, document control, quality metrics, validations, audits, and continuous improvements. This is a leadership role for an individual to engage QA/QC team to meet or exceed corporate initiatives.Role and responsiblities

• Oversee effective management of PCI Quality Systems functions
• Implement, monitor, and audit corrective actions
• Oversee effective complaint investigations
• Oversee effective internal investigations
• Monitor and improve Internal and External Batch Record Right First Time
• Provide hands-on training for staff ensuring the training system is compliant
• Report quality metrics and make recommendations for continuous improvement
• Support Quality leadership with internal, supplier, regulatory and customer audits
• Manage the Quality Control functions on-site through effective leadership and oversight of related QC functions including but not limited to in-process checks, monitoring of labeling and packaging activities on the floor, QC incoming and QC despatch
• Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, and rules
• Ensure department and company goals are met
• Performs other duties as assignedMinimum education and experience requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
  • At least 3yrs leadership experience in a management/leadership position
  • Previous leadership experience with positive results
  • Effective communication skill and clear writing skills The base salary range for this position is $111, 296.00 to $135,304.00 annually plus annual performance bonus eligibility. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including and not limited to specific and relevant experience, credentials, geography and subject matter expertise.
