Position: Energy Market Compliance Manager/DirectorLocation: San Diego, CA (Remote work permitted, not EST)Type: Full-timeTravel: Monthly presence in San Diego, CA officeJob Description:We are seeking a highly experienced Energy Market Compliance Manager/Director with a minimum of 3-5 years of FERC and CAISO experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring relevant energy markets, market transactions, and communications to ensure compliance with FERC and market rules and regulations.This includes delivering compliance training, providing guidance to the business, monitoring regulatory agencies, and producing regulatory reports. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for enhancing processes and tools to continuously improve the tracking and monitoring of market activities and adapting the program to changes in the business and external laws and regulations.Qualifications:

• 
  
• Bachelor's/Master's degree
• Strong understanding of Western power markets and energy management operations
• Detailed knowledge of energy industry laws, regulations, and standards
• Experience in FERC and CAISO compliance
• Proficient in MS Office applications and industry tools and technologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes
