START YOUR APPLICATION Reports to: President Supervises: N/A FLSA Status: Exempt POSITION SUMMARY - The Director of Finance will oversee all financial operations of the multi-unit restaurant chain. This position will be the only individual on our financial team but will oversee the duties of our 3rd party accounting team. This position will eventually build a team in the department. The Director of Finance will provide financial leadership and guidance to the executive team to ensure the financial health and success of the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -

• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insight and recommendations to the executive team.
• Directs the long-term planning process, including modeling the financial impact of strategic initiatives on the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow projections of the enterprise; provides visibility to risk parameters through scenario modeling.
• Oversee the duties of our 3rd party accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for each location, including P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Manage cash flow and financial risk to ensure the company's financial stability.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance and profitability.
• Provide leadership and ensure high accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and auditors.
• Monitor and analyze each location's financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to the executive team.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are aligned with business objectives.   • Working in a fast and high pace environment QUALIFICATIONS The Director of Finance will play a critical role in the company's financial success. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. They must be comfortable interfacing with and presenting to the company's board of directors and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders. EDUCATION -
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    • CPA certification preferred. WORK EXPERIENCE
      • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, with at least three years in a leadership role.
      • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
      • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. KEY SKILLS SET

        • Multi-unit Restaurant experience is strongly preferred. -
