We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Process Manager at our Torrey Pines, San Diego, CA location. The Business Process Manager leads the Systems & Infrastructure team, maintaining and enhancing daily system operations, and improving the technical experience of Contracts, Procurement and Proposals Management (CPPM) personnel. The Business Process Manager liaises with CPPM leadership, Information Technology Services (ITS) and relevant business stakeholders to drive efficient execution of business objectives leveraging technology and tools. The selected candidate will exercise critical thinking to evaluate and advise senior management regarding technical improvements and issues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads, participates, and coordinates technical projects, end-to-end, in conjunction with ITS.
• Leads the Systems & Infrastructure team to deliver high-quality, high accuracy technical support of various applications for the CPPM Department.
• Leads fit/gap analysis and working sessions to understand current and to-be business processes, gathers and summarizes requirements, presents solutions driven by best practices and stakeholder input.
• Serves as a liaison for managing requirements between the business, SMEs, and the IT development team for new functionality within SAP modules and other applications.
• Establishes and maintains a seamless, closed loop, and positive internal and external customer experience.
• Drives innovation through benchmarking of best practices to enhance capability and efficiency.
• Leverages differences in operational practices to effect improvements to process efficiency and customer experience.
• Maintains and documents in standard job instructions the operational maintenance and use of SAP and related applications.

  Job Qualifications:
  • Typically requires a bachelors degree in business administration, information technology or related discipline and nine or more years of progressive strategic business experience with at least three of those years managing business processes or operations. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
  • Critical thinker with the ability to consider multiple alternatives, develop creative solutions, while aware of future IT trends.
  • SAP Proficient, with strong emphasis on SAP materials management/procure to pay/supply chain and/or proposal to cash/contracts/order to Cash
  • SQL or other programing skills required.
  • Previous experience directing projects and overseeing/maintaining IT applications required.
  • Customer focused, both internal and external, and results-oriented management style required.
  • 5 years or more of experienced leading IT applications teams/departments desired
    Salary: $81,190 - $145,338
