WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH:

The Corporate Development Integration (CDI) group within the Finance Organization is responsible for executing the integration of acquisitions and Cisco, including the integration of people, processes, organizations and infrastructure. CDI also leads the separation of the people, processes, and infrastructure when Cisco divests a business.

Within CDI, Employee Experience (EE) is pertinent to a successful acquisition at Cisco. The goal is to understand the incoming acquisition culture (corporate, social, or other) to help the incoming employee feel engaged, productive and valued as they transition to Cisco. You will join a small, hard-working, fast-paced team in CDI creating a best-in-class experience for acquired employees.

This role requires travel and off-hour flexibility to support acquisition integration requirements. In this role, you will partner very closely with People & Communities (Human Resources), the acquired company and the acquiring Business Entity (BE). You will also collaborate with other multi-functional teams within Cisco that will help execute the holistic employee experience plan.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Work on a team of Employee Experience professionals including Cisco employees and contractors/consultants
  • Enable a best-in-class experience for acquired employees as they transition from working at the acquired company to becoming members of the Cisco team. Aspects of this transition include: developing an acquired employee journey strategy, managing employee orientation activities, coordinating the onboarding and set up in Cisco's tools and systems, and training and communications about the transition.
  • Create an engaging integration experience for acquired employees by generating excitement while introducing them to Cisco's purpose based on business needs and value creation.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
    • Define the employee experience strategy for the acquired entity. The strategy is to include how the acquired employee journey will look like from private announce to functional onboarding at Cisco taking into consideration the following requirements:
      • Onboarding requirements
      • Product timelines and deliverables
      • Productivity tools/technology the acquired will be using
        • Ensure that cross-functional teams follow the consistent integration methodology to ensure quality and best practice adoption across deals.
        • Collaborate with the Change management team to create, manage, and oversee the execution of all project plans detailing all change management activities and deliverables.
        • Identify risks and issues that may impact the success of the integration.
        • Facilitate large and diverse cross-functional team meetings, with Cisco and the acquired company stakeholders
        • Implement and lead employee experience improvement recommendations within functional team and contribute to the development and improvement of the Employee Experience practice for Cisco Acquisition Integration.
        • Lead the Employee Experience steering committee.

            MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
            • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years related experience, Master's degree preferred.
            • Prior experience Inclusion and Diversity, Employee Experience, or other related work

              When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. or Canada hiring location.               U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.

              Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
