Job Description:
CSA is seeking a Contracts Management Specialist to be based
onsite in San Diego, CA. The Contracts Management Specialist will
be responsible for providing strategic guidance, support, and
expertise in government procurement and contracting to our clients.
The successful candidate will work closely with government agencies
and organizations to navigate the complex procurement landscape and
ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This
role requires a deep understanding of government procurement
processes, contract management, and the ability to drive successful
outcomes for our clients.How Your Role Will Make an Impact:
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement
strategies that align with clients' objectives and requirements.
Provide recommendations on procurement methods, solicitation
strategies, and source selection approaches.
- Contracting Expertise: Assist clients in developing,
negotiating, and managing contracts. Ensure that contracts are
structured to meet the organization's needs while complying with
all relevant regulations and policies.
- Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated on government
procurement laws, regulations, and policies. Provide guidance to
clients on how to remain in compliance with federal, state, and
local procurement requirements.
- Bid and Proposal Support: Offer support in the preparation of
solicitation documents, evaluation criteria, and bid packages.
Provide guidance in the evaluation of proposals and selection of
suppliers.
- Contract Administration: Monitor and oversee the performance of
contracts, ensuring they are executed in accordance with terms and
conditions. Resolve contract disputes and issues as they
arise.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in
procurement and contracting processes. Develop risk mitigation
strategies and advise clients on best practices.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong
relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide
them with exceptional service and solutions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all
procurement and contracting activities. Prepare reports and
documentation as required by clients and regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices
and identify opportunities for process improvement. Suggest and
implement enhancements to optimize procurement and contracting
processes.What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Secret
Clearance.
- Three (3) years of demonstrated experience in DoD/DON Contracts
Management
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityWhat

is $80,000 - $100,000. Please note that the salary information is a
general guideline only. CSA considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Actual
compensation within that range will be dependent upon the
individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.This
