Job Description:
Duties--- You will lead a multidisciplinary project team which
includes the Design Manager, Construction Manager, Contract
Specialist, Project Technical Team, other Business Line
representatives, Supported Command representatives, and others as
appropriate.--- You will oversee design and construction for
facilities and infrastructure projects to ensure project scope,
schedules and budgets are managed within fiscal and regulatory
expectations and constraints.--- You will present the scope at
conferences/meetings and assists in the negotiation of AE fees for
award of engineering contracts.--- You will advise on solutions to
problems encountered during the design and construction of
facilities and infrastructure.--- You will serve on Source
Selection Boards and Technical Evaluation Teams for construction
contracts and provide recommendations for contract

the entire range of architectural and engineering activities for
facilities construction; 2) Administering construction contracts
from pre-bid to completion; 3) Reviewing, assessing, and resolving
construction design issues; 4) Leading, training, or mentoring
others to achieve construction engineering objectives; and 5)
Applying new developments and innovations to solve construction
problems that do not have standard or readily available

include differential and integral calculus and courses (more
advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the
following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a)
statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain
relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d)
thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and
properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure
to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental
engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil
mechanics, or electronicsSuch education must demonstrate the
knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the
positionOR Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI),
Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer
(PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto

the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in

completion of a curriculum leading to a bachelor's degree in an

year of professional engineering experience acquired under
