Test DirectorSan Diego, CaliforniaSalary Range: $57,000 67,000In-Depth Engineering seeks Test Directors to support the growing needs of our Aegis Ship Integration and Test (SI&T) program specifically conducting the government provided shipboard test procedures and documenting test completion and test discrepancies.The work is performed at our customer site in San Diego, CA. Candidates for consideration must be a US citizen and be able to obtain an active Department of Defense secret clearance.This is a permanent, full-time position.All experience levels are welcome to apply.DutiesEnsure all resource requirements are in place to properly execute each test eventAssist in the coordination of sea trial testing, including training participants on respective test procedures and reviewing status of test resultsConduct shipboard testing according to government furnished test proceduresInform the ATO/ATM of test related issues and requirementsSupport other Test Directors/Lead in coordinating to ensure successful completion of all combat system test eventsEnsure that all test, training, and operational event reports are collected from their respective team leaders and test results are promptly recorded.QualificationsAssociate degree with 1+ years of experience, or 5+ years of experience without a degreeExperience with large scale Ship Integration and Test PracticesNavy E5 or higherMust be physically able to work aboard a US Navy ship, lift up to 50lbs, work in a loud environment and support short underway periods.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to domestic locations such as; Pearl Harbor HI, Norfolk VA, Everett WA, Mayport FL, Bath ME, Pascagoula MS.In-Depth Engineering provides a competitive package of salary and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a Safe Harbor 401(k) program, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), STD, LTD, life insurance, and tuition assistance for higher education.
