Exceptional Time Management: Executing the proper planning and control over the amount of time spent on specific activities including effective prioritization skills, ability to recognize what is important, understand the difference between urgent and important and avoid becoming overwhelmed in order to meet participant or client expectations. Ability to consistently meet deadlines and/or communicate challenges early to re-prioritize tasks and/or deploy additional resources as necessary. Effective Delivery of Varied Communication Styles: Ability to understand your own natural style and adapt that style to varied communication styles of others to ensure effective communication occurs. Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of H&W administration systems including ben admin, COBRA and reimbursement systems including the debit card. Regulatory Knowledge: In depth regulatory knowledge of H&W benefits, understanding how the regulations impact the operations of H&W benefits, including HIPAA privacy and security rules. WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO? Responsible for overall management of operational/processing/and participant services functions for all Health & Welfare (H&W) administration services. EXPERIENCE Bachelor's required, masters degree in business management a plus Minimum seven years experience managing H&W administration services including Benefits Administration, Reimbursement Administration, and COBRA. Experience managing call centers a plus.
