The Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for performing
various activities to produce subassemblies, WIP products, and
finished goods in support of engineering/R&D projects.
Functional Description: Support Individual Contributor Sets up and
operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines
including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the
company's product. Responsible for the overall operation of
potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions
such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings,
performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the
line. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions
given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and
inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances. Work
Schedule: Must be able to work one of the following shifts listed
below and also overtime as needed:
- 1st Shift: --4:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Sunday through Tuesday and
every other Wednesday
- 1st Shift: --4:00 AM - 2:30 PM, every other Wednesday and
Thursday through Saturday
- 2nd Shift: --4:00 PM - 2:30 AM, every other Wednesday and
Thursday through Saturday
- Operates hand tools, or production equipment.
- Assembles products or sub-assemblies according to written
instructions, or by following drawings or diagrams.
- Execute redline experimental requests (ERs) independently.
- Complete and review associated documents.
- Compile and report yield and rejection data on a regular
- Maintain product traceability and reject tracking.
- Able to work in multiple areas/production lines throughout the
workday or work week with minimal oversight from Trainer or other
experienced Manufacturing Associates .
- Provide feedback to supervisor and engineering teams.
- Able to describe processes to cross-function visitors.
- Follow GMP guidelines.
- This position assumes and performs other duties as assigned.
- Experience in GMP environment. Experience and Education
- Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience
and a High School diploma/certificate or equivalent. Travel
- Up to 25% Functional/Business Knowledge:
- Moderate understanding of general job aspects and some
understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.
- Applies acquired job and company knowledge of policies and
procedures to complete semi-routine tasks. Scope:
- Work at this level requires following standardized methods and
under immediate supervision on assignments that are semi-routine in
- Follows pre-established guidelines and procedures with minimal
choice as to method of performance of the work.
- Has contact with employees at other levels within the company.
Information exchanged is generally noncomplex. Judgement:
- Normally follows established procedures on routine work,
requires instructions only on new assignments. Language Skills:
Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Ability to read
and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write
routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively
before groups of customers or employees of organization. Physical
