Job Description:

Apply Description Maintains the medical record files and assist s in locating documents as needed for billing and other internal office processing. Job Duties/Knowledge (Primary) 1. Sorts and scans all clinical notes 2. Assemble medical record files 3. Electronically file and maintain active medical records 4. Maintain and prepare all medical files for patients that are discharged 5. Scan and replace signed physician orders 6. Pull medical records file if subpoenaed 7. Assemble SOC packets 8. Pulls medical records needed if chart is subpoenaed. 9. Other office duties as determined by manager Requirements Qualifications: 1. High school graduate with minimum of two years of progressive business experience. 2. Preferred medical office or home health experience. 3. Proficient in word processing, desktop publishing and spreadsheet software. 4. Demonstrated success of accuracy and organization of data entry. 5. Demonstrated knowledge of the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages.
