join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located in San
Diego, CA, at the Rancho Bernardo campus. Telecommute/remote is not
an option for this position. This position's standard work schedule
is a 9/80, to allow employees every other Friday off.Essential
responsibilities:The lab inspector works in the software
engineering lab to verify that lab operations and test personnel
are complying with documented processes and procedures. The lab
inspector willParticipate in pre-test activities such as review of
test plan and test procedure documentationVerify that all pre-test
readiness activities are completeAssess readiness to enter formal
test eventsEnsure the physical and digital test environment and
configuration (e.g., lab, computers, hardware, firmware, software,
versions, checksums, etc.) is consistent with the documented
configurationWitness testing to ensure approved test procedures are
executed as writtenEnsure all defects and anomalies are
documentedEnsure all lab documentation is complete (logbooks, forms
etc.) in accordance with prescribed proceduresVerify that test
results are documentedParticipate in post-test activities such as
review of test report documentation and collection of test
metricsConduct audits of documented lab processes and
proceduresIdentify quality problems and recommends solutionsEnsure
equipment is properly calibrated and damaged items are properly
dispositionedThe lab inspector will be required to work second
shift as needed during scheduled weeks throughout the year.Basic
Qualifications: Lab Inspector 2High School diploma or equivalent
and 2 years additional education and/or in lab, test or other
related fieldAn active in-scope DoD Top Secret clearanceThe ability
to obtain/maintain program accessBasic Qualifications: Lab
Inspector 3High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional
education and/or in lab, test or other related fieldAn active
in-scope DoD Top Secret clearanceThe ability to obtain/maintain
program accessPreferred QualificationsAerospace/ Aircraft
experienceSalary Range: $50,000 USD - $83,400 USDSalary Range 2:
$59,400 USD - $99,000 USDEmployees may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are
designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow
employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President
or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In
addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including
