Job Description:
Human Longevity, Inc. (HLI) has developed a prototype platform
for genomics and imaging-based, technology-driven medicine which is
offered through Human Longevity clinic sites, in San Diego and San
Francisco with additional sites to follow. The Nucleus Medical
Group provides physican support, and provides specialized physician
and other health professional support for Human Longevity clients,
including data collection, interpretative services, longitudinal
care (using proprietary medical care modules) and monitoring using
baseline data, and HLI information tools.The Nucleus Medical Group
radiologist can be based anywhere in the United States although
West coast location is preferred. S/he will provide professional
support for Human Longevity clients, including radiologic
interpretation, integration of imaging and genomics data, and
communication with the larger physician team.Tasks And
Responsibilities
- Participate as a Radiologist in the Nucleus Medical Group,
focusing on day-to-day clinical operations and development, as well
as commercialization of genomics and imaging-based,
technology-driven medical care
- Interpret Whole Body MRI, brain MRI/MRA, prostate MRI and
cardiac MRI. Interpret routine radiographs, ultrasounds and CT
scans for urgent care as well as advanced CT and MRI studies to
triage findings on whole body MRI
- Provide ongoing clinical support within the practice and also
via telemedicine modalities (e.g. phone, email, video chat)
- Help supervise MRI, CT and US technologists in a
client-centered model and support daily clinical work
- Effectively communicate the Human Longevity model to
prospective clients and employees
- Help contribute to the development of imaging protocols and
reports
- Provide clinical management for Human Longevity clients in
collaboration with multidisciplinary internal and external
clinician partners including genetic counselors, primary care
physicians and specialists.Minimum Qualifications (Must Have)
- Board Certified by American Board of Radiology or pending Board
certification.
- Must have or be willing (and qualified) to obtain an
unrestricted medical license for California
- Commitment to practice of science-based medicine
- Interest in or relevant experience in implementation of
innovative medical care models
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership and team-oriented with excellent
interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of post-fellowship experience (preferred not
required)
- Ability to read Whole Body MRI imaging, prostate MRI, brain
MRI/MRA and cardiac MRI or be capable of learning.
- Ability to read single station CT and MRI of the head, neck,
chest, abdomen and pelvis
- Able to thrive in an often ambiguous, challenging, and
