Together, HLI and the Health Nucleus are committed to revolutionizing human health and the practice of medicine.Purpose of JobThe HLI Health Nucleus is seeking an inspired, intellectually curious, and mission driven Health Ambassador/ Medical Assistant to be an integral part of the Longevity Care Team. This individual will demonstrate stellar skills and also provide empathic, personalized care to Nucleus clients throughout their experience – including a warm welcome, supportive clinical care, and ongoing engagement and connection with the clients' personal care plans.Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Outreach to new client to assist the consenting process.
  • Welcomes clients by warmly greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Assist client to complete intake forms.
  • Actively engages in positive work relationships with other staff members and has a collaborative approach.
  • Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; reviewing and/or recording medical history; taking vital signs; confirming purpose of visit or treatment.
  • Capable of blood draws.
  • Assists technologist with preparing clients for testing when requested.
  • Maintains the proper amount of supplies by inventorying stock; placing orders and tracking product shipments.
  • Has EHR experience, be able to take vitals, understands labs and medications

  • Assist with maintaining patient files, records and additional information.
  • Implements and honors a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
  • Upholds patient confidentiality and protects operations by keeping patient care information confidential and following HIPAA practices.
  • Assist physicians to implement client's action plan and follow up with client as scheduled to check for progress
  • Distribute targeted health educational material to clients.
  • Coordinate onsite or off site tests and update client's medical records.
  • Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications (Must have)
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Current CPR or BLS for Healthcare Providers certificate by start date
    • One year of relevant medical office work experience
    • Knowledge of medical terminology
    • Proficient with MS Office
    • Excellent communication and customer service oriented
    • Collaborate with colleagues to assist patients in their care and testing
    • Identifies patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients and customers
    • Ability to work well with teams in an open environment
    • Demonstrate sound judgment to effectively solve problems
    • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
    • Additional duties as assignedPreferred Qualifications
      • Customer focused to provide a high level of care and a positive experience
      • Dynamic individual with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally engage others.
      • Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) OR have a Certificate of completion form a Medical Assistant training program.Working Conditions
        • Open clinical environment
        • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending and kneeling
