The Pharmacy Technician Specialist will be working in an office setting assisting with scheduling, answering phone calls, processing referrals, and reconciling medication history. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, comfortable on the phone and prefers working in an office setting. -This is a full time position, generally Monday through Friday business hours, located at the corporate pharmacy office in La Jolla. -Includes $2,000 retention incentive and $3,000 relocation assistance to eligible new hires. -The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:

• Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years agoIn order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following -criteria must be met:
  • Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer -letter)
  • Must remain in original department/specialty
  • Must remain in original Job Title
  • Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and -may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted -in your offer letter.Experience/Specialized Skills:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.Required Certification/Registration:
      • Current Pharmacy Technician License.
      • Certification by a National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) required within 6 months of hire.
      • Minimum 2 years pharmacy technician experience.Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
