Bring your passion for patient care and you will build a career you love as a RN Acute Care.Join the AccentCare team and apply for this RN Acute Care opportunity today!Position: Advanced Care Registered Nurse (RN)Office Location: UCSD JV - San Diego, CARate: $55 to $70/hourHours: A flex schedule of 8-4 and 12-8 Monday through Friday; PRN need 2 days per week On-call rotational weekends, once every 4 weeks On-call rotational weekdays, once every 4 weeksResponsibilities:RN Acute Care Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide needed nursing care to meet treatment plan and needs identified through effective care planningEducate patients on their conditions, prescribed medications, nursing interventions, and care plans. Participate in the coordination of services with other disciplines and community resources as neededIdentify and appropriately act on changes in patient's condition. Evaluate and revise care plans/assessments based on changes in patients and/or their environmentsDocument all assessments and interventions. Collect specimens as required (including phlebotomy). Start and manage peripheral IVs, midlines, and PICCs. Administer medications including IV medications as ordered. Insert foley catheters as orderedUtilize and instruct patient/family on the use of the telehealth tablet used for biometric data capture, patient symptom reporting, and telehealth visitsParticipate in regular case conferences and in-service or special case orientations as needed and participate in on-call rotationQualifications:RN Acute Care Qualifications:ASN required, BSN strongly preferredCurrently licensed to practice in applicable state3-5 years of inpatient experience (preferably in med/surg) as a registered nurse is required and within the last 5 years is preferredExperience providing RN services in the home, community, or clinic is preferred
