Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians. This outpatient clinic is located in sunny San Diego, CA and minutes from our beautiful beaches and central to the vibrant La Jolla community. You will experience the pride, and support of being a member of an outstanding team at our new Anderson Medical Pavilion and dermatology clinic where we share a culture of providing excellent care to our patients and each other. \n\n The LVN performs:\n\n\n\tPatient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.\n\tEducates patients and documents patient interactions.\n\tPractices infection control.\n\tContributes to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice.\n\n\n This position is working 4 - 10 hour shifts at our clinic in La Jolla , Dermatology Department.\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:\n\n\n\tInternal candidates\n\tRehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago\n\n\n In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:\n\n\n\tMust remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)\n\tMust remain in original department/specialty\n\tMust remain in original Job Title\n\tTransfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.\n\n Required Qualifications:\n\n Current LVN CA license\n\n BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)\n\n Preferred Qualifications:\n\n Minimum of one year outpatient experience working as an LVN in a dermatology clinic\n\n Cosmetic or Dermatology Experience\n Scripps Health is an equal opportunity employer.
