We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Social Worker to join our
team at Scripps Green Hospital located in the beautiful Torrey
Pines area. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will work
collaboratively with the RN Care Managers to provide best patient
care for a safe, timely discharge. You will also: \n\n\n\tassist
patients and families with personal and environmental problems
which predispose illness or which interfere with their obtaining
maximum benefits from medical care. \n\n\n The ideal candidate will

opportunity for learning and growth.\n\n \nThis is a Full Time, 8
hour day shift position located at the Scripps Green Hospital in
the La Jolla Torrey Pines area. Candidate must be flexible on
schedule and be willing to work weekends and holidays.\n\n \n\n
\n\n \n\n The following are not eligible for hiring
incentives:\n\n\n\tInternal candidates\n\tRehires that left Scripps
less than 3 years ago\n\n\n In order to remain eligible for your
retention incentive the following criteria must be met\n\n\n\tMust
remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in
offer letter)\n\tMust remain in original
department/specialty\n\tMust remain in original Job
Title\n\tTransfers to other locations will be reviewed on a
case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive
bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.\n\n Required
Qualifications: \n\n\n\tMaster's degree in Social Work (MSW) or
Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) from an accredited
University/College. MFT applicants must have prior hospital
experience. \n\tWorking knowledge of the laws, regulations,
policies and appeal procedures as relative to the Federal, State
and other reimbursement programs. \n\tMust be able to display good
working relationships with patients, families, medical and nursing
personnel, and all others employed at the hospital.\n\tBLS for
Healthcare Provider American Heart Association.\n\n\n \n\n
Preferred Qualifications:\n\n\n\tLCSW or LMFT (Licensed by the
State of CA Behavioral Science Examiners Board). \n\tExperience in
the hospital setting preferred. \n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office
including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, Epic, ECIN. \n\tAn
ability to speak another language is desirable. \n\n Scripps Health
