  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel RN - PICU Float PoolShift: Variable D/N, 7a-7p/7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, or straight NightsLength: 13 weeks(4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights - traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule)Must work 2 out of the 3 holidaysRequirements:
  • CA License
  • 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL)
  • Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG
  • PICU experience required
  • BLS
  • PALSOther details:
    • Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested
    • First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including EDTHIS IS A CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL POSITION - PEDIATRIC ICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested**Required:--- CA License--- First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED--- Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity--- BLS--- PALS--- 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL)*for travelers with PICU exp - 15 bed minimum and higher acuity of care across ALL PICU/ICU areas--- Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG.Shifts:--- 3x12 variable or straight night--- (4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights - traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule)--- 13 week contractsRequested Time Off:Max 6 days (Must still get 3 shifts in per week)Must work 2 out of the 3 holidaysPatient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, **neurosurgery.
