  • DON'T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE IN A CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
  • **RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post**
  • **Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested**
  • Preferred: De-escalation Training
    • Job Requirements
    • Current CA RN license
    • BLS
    • PALS
    • 2 years recent experience in a pediatric ED in a children's hospital - mixed adults/peds will be redirected
    • Experience with computerized charting
    • Triage experience, IV Start, Tele, Conscious Sedation
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12s or 4x12s, variable shifts or straight NOCS
      • Can request blocked scheduling
      • No more than 6 days RTO. Only one holiday request off - Must work 2 out of 3 holidays
        • Unit Specific Information
        • For Home Health, Ortho, and Outpatient Surgery please complete Peds skills, instead of HH.
        • For PICU and CVICU - complete PICU Comp Exam.
        • For Sub Acute - complete Peds Comp Exam.
          • Additional Details
          • Valid photo ID is required. Must have front and back copies. Traveler must present on their first day.
          • Since this is a Children's hospital, Pediatric Pharmacology Exam is required. Must score 80% or higher.
          • 80% required, must be within 1 year of start and updated annually. Must be done by a 3rd party website.
          • Orientation Information - sent out on the Thursday before a Monday start.
          • The candidate must complete prior to start.
          • Proof of Auto Insurance is required for Home Health
