About The Position We are seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician for a locum tenens opportunity at a hospital in California. This ongoing assignment requires coverage for 12-hour shifts, 6 times per month, starting 01/05/2026. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an ER, handling typical emergency cases, and managing patient transfers for more serious conditions. This position offers flexibility with both day (7a-7p) and night (7p-7a) shifts available. The initial assignment is for 40 days, with a strong possibility of extension for the right candidate.
