qualified Emergency Medicine PA in California! About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician
Assistant for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in California. This
opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, with per diem shifts ranging
from 2pm-12am and 4pm-2am. Join a fast track emergency medicine
team providing direct patient care with strong support and utilize
the Epic EMR system. Job Details - Location: California - Start
Date: Dec 1, 2025 - LOA: 30 days - Provider Type Needed: Emergency
Medicine Physician Assistant - Schedule: Per diem; shifts are
2pm-12am or 4pm-2am Responsibilities and Duties - Provide direct
patient care in a fast track emergency medicine setting - See
patients for 9 of 10 scheduled hours per shift - Collaborate with
other Physician Assistants to cover fast track shifts - Coordinate
care with emergency medicine team and support staff - Document all
patient encounters using the Epic EMR system Additional Information
- Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in California -
Required board certification: Emergency Medicine - Must have recent
ER experience within the last 2 years - Required certifications:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) -
Prior experience in fast track urgent care and emergency medicine
