Job Description:
The San Diego VA Healthcare System is seeking a dedicated
Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team. This role is crucial in
providing exceptional orthopaedic care to our veterans, ensuring
they receive the highest standard of both clinical and surgical
services. Functions and Responsibilities: Orthopaedic Care: Primary
responsibility for delivering comprehensive orthopaedic care to
veterans, including both clinical and surgical procedures. Resident
Supervision: Supervise residents in accordance with VA guidelines,
fostering a learning environment that enhances their skills and
professional growth. Clinic Staffing: Manage and staff orthopedic
clinics, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
Administrative Participation: Attend staff meetings and actively
participate in committees as assigned, contributing to the
continuous improvement of our services. Inpatient and Outpatient
Services: Provide orthopaedic services to both inpatient and
outpatient veterans, addressing their diverse and critical
