Job Description Job Title: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) –
Full Time Location: San Diego, CA About Us: We are a
patient-focused multi-specialty dental practice located in North
County San Diego. We have been established for over 30 years. We
pride ourselves on high quality care, a friendly team environment,
and an office where each team member is valued. This has led to
most of our staff staying with us for many years. Position
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant
(RDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in
chair-side assisting (including restorative procedures and
prophylaxis support), comfortable with digital radiography, and
able to contribute to a positive patient experience. The candidate
should feel comfortable with the pediatric population and have fun
with them! Responsibilities ? Assist the dentist during general
restorative, preventive, and basic surgical procedures. ? Prepare
treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain
infection-control standards. ? Take and process dental x-rays (RDA
license required). ? Ensure patient comfort, answer questions, and
support the clinical workflow. ? Communicate effectively with the
front office and clinical team to support efficient operations.
Qualifications: ? Current California RDA license in good standing.
? Valid CPR certification. ? Experience in a dental practice (2
year preferred). ? Proficiency in digital imaging (x-rays) and
basic dental software Dentrix is a plus. ? Excellent interpersonal
skills, reliability, and a positive attitude. Compensation &
Benefits: ? Pay range: $25 – $35 per hour , depending on experience
and advanced certifications. ? Health (medical) insurance options.
