As a Shared-Ride Transportation Driver, you will be instrumental in providing personalized transportation and accompaniment services specifically tailored for senior citizens, ensuring they maintain their independence and participate actively in their communities. This role goes beyond traditional driving; it involves being a supportive companion and ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers as you escort them to various appointments, events, and social activities. Safely transport senior passengers to and from various destinations following all road safety regulations. Provide physical aid to passengers as needed, assisting them in getting in and out of the vehicle and escorting them to their appointments. Maintain a friendly and supportive interaction with all passengers, ensuring a positive and comforting experience. Schedule and plan routes efficiently to ensure timely service. Keep accurate records of travel logs and passenger details. Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to meet safety and cleanliness standards. Excellent driving skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Good physical health and ability Ability to manage time and routes efficiently Patient and attentive to the needs of elderly passengers Understanding of and compassion for the challenges faced by the elderly Valid driver’s license Clean driving record CPR and First Aid certifications Any state-specific certifications required for transporting passengers
