Job Description:
Join SilverRide, a leader in specialized transportation services
for senior citizens, as a Shared-Ride Transportation Driver. In
this role, you will be instrumental in assisting seniors in
maintaining their independence by safely transporting them to and
from appointments, social engagements, and other personal
destinations. Your contributions will promote their mobility and
continued active participation in the community while ensuring
comfort and security during their travels. Safely transport senior
passengers to and from various destinations keeping their specific
needs in mind. Assist passengers during pick-up and drop-off,
providing physical support and companionship. Maintain accurate
travel logs and comply with all transportation regulations.
Communicate with families and caretakers about schedules, changes,
and passenger needs. Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and
properly maintained to provide a safe and comfortable ride. Attend
periodic training sessions to enhance service quality and safety
awareness. Excellent driving skills and clean driving record.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
Sensitivity and empathy towards elderly passengers. Ability to
manage schedules and maintain punctuality. Basic mechanical
knowledge to address minor vehicle issues. Valid driver's license
CPR and First Aid Certification preferred Special training or
certification in elderly care is a plus
