You'll work directly with Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), manage claim adjudication, handle prior authorizations, and resolve billing discrepanciesall while maintaining exceptional patient communication and customer service standards.This is a full-time, on-site position, ideal for someone with hands-on experience in pharmacy claims billing, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a tech-enabled, patient-centered pharmacy solution. Schedule Details Location: On-Site Laguna Hills, CA (Office borders Irvine) Hours: 8 hour shifts, 5 days a week: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM, or 7:00AM - 5:00PM, Saturday 7:30AM - 4:00PM (rotating) Duties and Responsibilities: Process and rebill NDCs to ensure accurate claim submission Perform electronic claim adjudication and resolve rejections Communicate with insurance companies to address billing issues and obtain overrides Manage prior authorizations and coordinate with healthcare providers Engage with patients regarding insurance-related issues, providing clear and timely resolutions Ensure compliance with Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines Required Skills & Qualifications Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of pharmacy billing is required. Minimum of 1 year of direct experience with third-party billing, claims submission, prior authorization and rejection resolution. Expertise in navigating complex payer requirements, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance plans. Strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion. Fast learner, able to adapt to busy workflow and new environment quickly.
