Deliver patient-centered care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, focusing on individualized, holistic treatment for diverse patient populations. This role emphasizes the nursing processassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationto ensure safe and therapeutic care tailored to each patient's needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and advocate for patients and families to promote high-quality outcomes in a dynamic surgical environment. Key Responsibilities: Assess patient and family needs, prioritizing goals and documenting findings accurately. Develop comprehensive, culturally sensitive care plans in partnership with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Implement and adapt nursing interventions to meet comprehensive care plans using evidence-based practices. Evaluate progress toward patient goals, adjusting plans as necessary and engaging in patient care conferences. Identify and address educational needs through individualized teaching and learning assessments. Foster effective communication, overcoming cultural and socio-economic barriers, to build therapeutic relationships. Advocate for patient autonomy and family involvement in healthcare decisions. Document patient care thoroughly following department guidelines. Delegate appropriate tasks to other healthcare team members within scope of practice. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient well-being and facilitate smooth care transitions.
