Job Description & Requirements Interim Assistant Nurse Manager, Utilization Management StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $150000.00 - $160000.00 Interim Assistant Nurse Manager, Utilization Management Needed in San Diego, California! The Position - An Interim Assistant Nurse Manager, Utilization Management is needed to support daily operations for a utilization management team. - The shift is from 8:30 AM to 5 PM. - Key responsibilities include managing utilization review activities, supporting appeal and grievance processes, and ensuring adherence to Medicare and other regulatory requirements while maintaining efficient, high-quality operations. - The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background with utilization management and case management experience, along with the ability to multitask, work independently, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. - Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements - Bachelor's degree required. - Active RN license required. - Several years of progressive nursing leadership experience required, with direct experience in utilization management, case management, appeals and grievances, and knowledge of Medicare and related regulations. Compensation Details - Compensation Range: $150,000 to $160,000 annually. - The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. - The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
