Job Summary The Senior Human Resources Generalist provides support to the general employee population and forms committed business partner relationships with company management. The Senior Human Resources Generalist manages and oversees activities including, but not limited to, employment, compensation, benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, training, safety, and security. Key Accountabilities Provide full scale strategic and functional support for designated client group Provide coaching and guidance to managers in designated client group Work with managers and Compensation on salary recommendations related to promotions and any other salary adjustments Support all cycles of performance review process including annual merit processes with managers in specified client group Create and build stong relationships with employees and company leadership Manage employee relations and performance issues in a proficient manner; ensure proper investigation and documentation; support employees/managers with implementing corrective and disciplinary actions Assist with the development of department and company policies and procedures. Responsible for providing covid support for designated client group Manages Leave of Absences for local employees Manages Immigration processes, as needed Actively participate in termination processes Actively participate in the development, preparation, and implementation employee activities and company events Support workers' compensation and aid in company safety initiatives Assist with benefits as appropriate, including 401k, COBRA, open enrollment and changes; process all monthly health and welfare bills Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience preferred Six (6) to seven (7) years previous HR experience required experience within a regulated medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment a plus Demonstrated knowledge of general HR principles and practices Practical experience managing employee relation matters including performance and harassment Knowledge of HRIS and ATS systems Previous experience developing and implementing trainings Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong knowledge of Excel; working knowledge or MS Office Strong planning, organizational and time management skills are required Ability to work as part of a team Travel Requirements: As needed; about 10% of traveling time. Work Environment (US only): The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. Must be able to detect, identify and inspect scientific data. The employee will be required to stand and/or walk up to 8 hours per day and/or sit for up to 8 hours per day. Must be able to use hands to feel objects, including keyboard, telephone and pipettes or other lab equipment. May need to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch. Will be required to talk and hear and have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. May occasionally have to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment will vary but is usually moderate.
