IIReports To: Manager, Human ResourcesPosition Location: San Diego,
CANumber of Direct Reports: 0This role supports the new client
business unit in San Diego, California, part of the group of
diagnostics businesses at ***. We focus on increasing access to
affordable innovations in diagnostic testing and enabling

seriously.Position Summary:The HR Generalist will provide core,
common, and consistent HR solutions to provide large-scale project
support to Client team. Under the direction of HR leadership, this
position is responsible for managing day-to-day Human Resource
functions including positive employee relations, HR compliance,
on-boarding, record keeping, training and development,
compensation, and performance management.Key
Responsibilities:Evaluate and advise on programs or strategies that
impact the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of
the people resources of the businessProvide HR support on HR
policies and processesCounsel and/or coach employees and managers
regarding employee relations issues including performance
management, facilitation of formal/informal complaints to
resolution, discipline, and/or terminations in line with local
culture and the business and legal environmentPromote the use of
the Colleague Service Center to solicit HR process/functional
advicePartner with the site, HR shared services, and Business
leaders to oversee and provide guidance on site activities, shape
culture, and drive employee engagementResponsible for remaining up
to date on relevant US, and state employment laws and other human
resources compliance issues. Update management on
policies/processes as necessary. Responsible for oversight and
coordination of any regulatory requirements including OSHA
compliance and Equal Employment OpportunityCollaborate with other
peers, subject matter experts, and field HR reps to resolve
employee issues in a thorough and timely mannerPerform other duties
as assignedMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelors degree in
either Human Resources or a business-related field requiredMust
have several years of experience in various aspects of human
resources (staffing, compensation, employee relations, and
organizational development)Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint, experience using an
HRIS database and reporting applicationPersonal
