Job Description:
We are looking for someone who enjoys supporting the success of
others to lead the Human Resources functions for our Corporate
tribe and support global HR functions, applications, programs, and
projects. In this role you will be responsible for supporting and
guiding execuitves and employees in talent development, employee
relations, talent acquisition/pipeline development, relationship
management, succession planning, and projects. Reporting to the
Global Talent Director, you will also support the development and
implementation of organizational design. This role is a hands on
leader, both engaging coaches in building their competence as
leaders of people as well as working alongside of HR staff in
delivering company supported people practices and programs. This
role offers the flexibility of working a hybrid schedule from the
San Diego HQ and home office. What You'll Be Doing HR Business
Partner
- Leads the Corporate Human Resources function. Serves as
strategic HR partner to the corporate leaders and team with
projects and the entire employee lifecycle: recruitment, people
development, employee relations, compensation and benefits.
- Leads the development and revision of corporate OD projects
with support of global OD, as needed.
- Works with corporate and line leaders to ensure that the
workplace is respectful of diversity, equitable, and inclusive such
that every tribe member experiences a sense of belonging.
- Develops and delivers appropriate communications and promotes
employee engagement and loyalty through understanding of programs,
policies and objectives. People Development
- Leadership development: Partners with Global Director, Learning
and Development to identify and deliver learning interventions to
support strategic growth objectives.
- Performance management: Manages the planning, implementation
and administration of the program, develops and delivers all
related training, and provides feedback and coaching in the
creation and support of the program's goals for corporate
employees.
- Employee relations: Leads all aspects of corporate team
employee relations to ensure the uniform and equitable application
of the organization's policies, practices and values. Partners with
and coaches on leadership competency development and appropriate
actions necessary to address behavioral and performance issues.
Talent Acquisition
- Leads all corporate talent acquisition activities to include
ongoing pipeline development, sourcing, recruiting launches,
onboarding and budgeting.
- Oversees publication and audit of global job description
library
- Supports insights, development and activation of global
employment branding to include social media channels, content, etc.
Compensation
- Communicates the total compensation programs. Develops key
messages for communication of total compensation program, rationale
and methodology, providing education and training to leadership as
needed.
- Partners with leaders to develop merit, promotion and
adjustment structure within budgetary limitations.
- Collaborates with leaders and provides advice on salary and
adjustments, working within an established budget, to attract,
motivate and retain employees. HRMS
- Responsible for Workday data accuracy and timeliness for
corporate employees. Policies and Compliance
- Collaborates in the establishment of local policies and
practices. Guides the revision and establishment of global
principles and philosophies, versus locally flexible and determined
at the trade bloc level. Develops and communicates companywide HR
related policies; communicates policy rationale in a way that
elicits support and illustrates the value and intent of the
policies. Works in coordination with other HR leaders to ensure
maintenance of current publication and communication of all
corporate policies, including publishing updates as needed.
- Regulatory compliance: Develops an understanding of employment
related regulatory compliance requirements for Corporate functions;
partners with Americas HR leadership to align as appropriate to
identify and implement policies and practices that overlap both
Corporate and Americas tribes; monitors employment trends and
regulatory changes impacting compliance; seeks out internal and
external sources of education and support to keep abreast of such.
Project Management
- Manages special projects in support of department objectives,
including annual budget planning, change management initiatives,
while consistently searching for cost effective solutions and
negotiating for the most competitive terms.
- Supports administration administrator for 401(k) plan and
attends all meetings whether or not a voting member.
- Leads projects for Corporate Human Resources such as GDPR and
SharePoint Global site development and maintenance.
- Leads company employee surveys and reporting in collaboration
with external and internal partners.Leads the bi-annual employee
engagement survey Plans and organizes global Human Resources
conferences
- Acts as the corporate liaison for international benefits
programs such as Business, Travel and Accident, Calm, and executive
health.
- Supports the development of content and data for the "S" of the
ESG report.
- Supports the preparation of annual data submissions for
Korn-Ferry. Leadership Demonstrate servant leadership in the

What You'll Bring To The Role
- Bachelors degree in HR, business, psychology or other relevant
field, desired
- HR certification and 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of
degree
- Able to function in an independent and self-directed manner
with only general guidance and collaborate effectively amongst
diverse groups.
- Requires a minimum of 4+ years performing at this level Total
Rewards $95000 - $115000 / year plus 15% profit-sharing
contribution to your retirement account. Salary is determined by
multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience,
knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment
with market data
