Your next career move: We are currently seeking a HR Business Partner I who will partner with cross functional teams and leaders in a variety of human resources activities and facilitate and support various HR initiatives.This position will serve as first-level coach to managers; conducts investigations and recommends resolution; advises on and implements HR plans, programs, services, practices, and policies that directly align to the business strategy.
Responsibilities:


  • Provides HR guidance to employees and managers with regard to career development, recruiting, performance management, compensation, training, LOA, company policies, etc.
  • Partners with hiring managers by participating in interviewing leadership candidates. Recommends compensation offers for new hires.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on employee relations; conducting investigations, researches policies/practices, creates and gathers documentation, makes determinations and implements resolutions when applicable.
  • Partners with hiring managers to understand organizational needs and ensuring the proper identification and selection of candidates within established timelines and legal compliance.
  • May develop and administer training programs for managers and employees.
  • Identifies and evaluates opportunities to enhance employee development and retention.
  • Supports the performance review process by ensuring proper training to employees and managers as well as managing the administrative process.
  • Ensures employment practices are compliant with internal policies/procedures and external laws/regulations.
  • Consults with management to support pay for performance philosophy. Coach managers through all aspects of performance management process from goal setting through appraisal and performance counseling process.
  • Conduct Exit Interviews and perform qualitative data analysis of turnover, discipline, and other metrics
  • Implement and communicate new policies, practices, and programs to meet management and employee needs.
  • Maintains a high level of knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments and applicable laws regarding human resources.
  • Responds to employee questions related to benefits, compensation, leave administration, employee relations, company policies and other issues.
  • Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule].
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.
  • Embodies Aji Bio-Pharma's cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture.

    Requirements :

    • Bachelor's degree in a business discipline or equivalent training and experience preferred.
    • Minimum of four (4) years of progressive Human Resources experience.
    • Strong knowledge in a minimum of four of the following:benefits administration, compensation, performance management, regulatory/compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, retention, organizational development and training.
    • PHR preferred.
    • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
    • High degree of personal initiative and achievement motivation, setting personal standards of excellence and ongoing performance improvement.
    • High level of self-confidence with ability to adapt to changing environments.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with clients and HR colleagues.
    • Strong analytical skills, including reporting, synthesizing data to identify themes and creating solutions to address identified issues.
    • Professional demeanor with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.

      The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in California is $62,137.82-$86,992.95
