Annually Position SummaryPlan, coordinate and manage human resource
activities, including talent acquisition, policy implementation and
enforcement, performance management, compensation and benefits
administration. Participate in cross-functional team
meetingsEssential Duties and Responsibilities -Develop, maintain
and manage policies and procedures related to employees in the work
environment.
- Advise managers and supervisors on organizational policy
matters, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity
and other regulations.
- Plan, manage, supervise and coordinate work activities of
department and subordinates.
- Manage and administer compensation, benefits and performance
management systems and processes.
- Analyze, maintain and report out on department metrics.
- Plan, conduct and coordinate new hire orientation and other
trainings as needed or necessary.
- Manage talent acquisition process including recruiting
functions, such as job posting, searching and reviewing resumes
(evaluate qualifications for positions), screening candidates and
scheduling/coordinating interviews.
- Manage leave of absence programs, including coordination of
appropriate and applicable leave eligibility.
- Manage and/or maintain employee relations programs such as
employee of the month, monthly recognition reception and monthly
newsletter.
- Works with cross functional teams and collaborates with members
of management and contributes to a team effort.
- Manage and maintain employee personnel files.
- May identify and conduct training needs.
- Maintain and monitor employee issues and concerns.
- Investigate employee issues and/or complaints.
- Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow
directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers,
understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with
corporate policies, goals and objectives, accept constructive
feedback, establish goals and objectives, and exhibit initiative
and commitment.

functions.Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and -experience.
- 8 plus years' experience in manufacturing, shipyard or
government contracting preferred.
- Human Resources certifications (PHRca, SHRM-CP, SPHR, PHR)
preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to listen and understand information or ideas.
- Ability and tolerance to meet due dates and deadlines and/or
time constraints.
- Proficient with human resource information systems and
software.
- Knowledge of and ability to utilize Microsoft office
applications.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employee.
- Time management and organizational skills preferred.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
