You will:Make a strong strategic impact on the business, while also positively impacting the local communityBuild best-in-class programs that can scale as we grow from approximately 50 workers to 200+Facilitate HR operations as you serve as the right hand of the Plant Manager and work closely with the local shelter companySpotlight your talent as you grow and develop the team We're looking for a bilingual Spanish / English HR professional who lives in the greater San Diego area and is willing and able to commute daily to the Aspen Medical Products plant in Tijuana. Additionally, you will travel to the corporate office in Irvine approximately once per quarter. The ideal candidate for the role of Human Resources Manager will be an experienced HR professional with legal authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship and experience working at a Mexican manufacturing site. You will have experience and the ability to effectively interact with a shelter company and the employees for which it is responsible, while also working directly for Aspen Medical Products and building a collaborative and cohesive culture at the Tijuana facility that reflects the strong culture Aspen MP has developed across all its locations.To be a strong fit for the role of Human Resources Manager, you will have:A bachelor's degree, ideally in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations or a related field.3 to 5 years of experience working in an HR leadership role in a Maquiladora or Mexican manufacturing facility.5+ years of experience in a broad Human Resources role where you gained knowledge of current HR concepts, practices, and procedures, such as employee relations, HR Admin, training and development, recruiting, organizational development, employment laws, compensation and benefits, and business strategy.Bilingual Spanish / English communication skills, including speaking, writing, reading and listening fluency in Spanish to work effectively with plant personnel and English to work with the U.S.-based HR team and other stakeholders.Deep understanding of and experience with the Mexican culture.
