Job DescriptionWe are looking to hire a full time Payroll Specialist in Southern CA. You'd be eligible for competitive pay and full time employee benefits including medical coverage, 401K match, and PTO! Responsibilities:Process bi-weekly, multi state payrollProcess 401k, HSA, FSA contributionsRun monthly payroll/HRIS reportsReconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reportsManage employee event committee for all offices (team bonding event planning)Administrative tasks including but not limited to ordering business cards, uniform shirts, etcDistribute manuals, passwords and guidelines, as neededEnsure new hires have technical assistance to properly set up their hardware and softwareInform employees on their first tasks (e.g. which programs to download and how to activate their accounts)Onboard new hires Process correct garnishment calculations and complianceRequirements:Need strong MS Excel skillsMUST HAVE experience and working knowledge of Namely payroll system2-4 years experience processing multi-state payrollWorking knowledge of payroll best practicesWorking knowledge of wage and hour laws in multiple states according to FLSAStrong work ethic and team playerAbility to deal sensitively with confidential materialAbility to communicate with various levels of managementDecision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skillsOrganizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
