Description: Job Title: Systems Administrator Job ID: CHQ20210909-69035 Job Location: Palm Bay, FL / Chantilly, VA / Colorado Springs, CO / San Diego, CA / Carlsbad, CA / Rochester, NY Job Description: The Systems Administrator is responsible for performing critical system design and implementation of U.S. Government accredited classified systems. The Systems Administrator is also responsible for the design, development, deployment, and maintenance for critical systems supporting the engineering and manufacturing operations. Our system administrators partner with the business to deliver effective solutions and solve challenging that directly affect our customer's success and contribute to the National Security mission. Job Responsibilities: Administration, monitoring, and maintenance of computers and servers at the application, operating system and infrastructure level including operating system and application patching Management of Active Directory domains and local system and application accounts as well as ensuring system backups are completed and that the security plan requirements are executed per ICD 503 RMF standards Triaging and resolving issues and problems identified and recorded in the incident management system as well as recommending enhancements to the environment to the IT leadership and Information System Security team and implementing approved changes with the goal of achieving maximum server uptime and availability for the customers Assist the Information Systems Security team in the execution of the Continuous Monitoring Strategy defined in the System Security Plan Lead specific projects, sites and maintaining a relationship with the programs and engineering personnel assigned to those systems The ability to transport 30lb in order to support equipment installation and deployments Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. US Top Secret security clearance Security+ CE (or higher qualification) or ability to obtain in the first 6 months of employment Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing enterprise level system Experience providing technical direction to a team and working on larger IT projects CISSP or higher certification Industry certifications from Microsoft, Cisco (to include CCNA), and RedHat Experience with VMWare hypervisors and high availability / fault tolerance concepts, managing backup solutions such as BackupExec/CommVault and physical tape libraries, SQL Server support and deployment and management of mass storage types such as NAS, SAN, iSCSI, SAS Experience developing, deploying and maintaining Windows and Linux environments in an accredited environment, including implementing DISA STIGs Experience responding to business requests by gathering requirement and designing and implementing solutions from those requirements Experience managing Linux environments Experience with Bash/Shell, Python, Perl, Powershell scripting in a system administration environment Experience with Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence) and similar toolsets used in a DevOPS environment Experience supporting Windows operating systems, virtual environments, and backup solutions Experience with support and management of active directory domains including DHCP and DNS services Experience with hardware components and maintenance activities for computers and servers Experience with network concepts including TCP/IP, routing, VLANS and general network equipment management In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $71,500 - $132,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
