The Global Talent Acquisition organization has an exciting opportunity to attract an expert Executive Recruiter, focused within Global Technical Operations (Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Development, Engineering & Facilities), supporting pivotal roles at the Executive levels of Bristol-Myers Squibb. The incumbent must be able to demonstrate superior business acumen, skills and capabilities (sourcing, attracting, engaging, negotiating and closing complex offers) to support operating at the Executive level. The position will be a critical partner role with accountability to execute and deliver upon the strategic life-cycle of the end-to-end talent acquisition process to include: 1) delivery of Executive Talent against existing demand 2) partnering with Talent Management and other key stakeholders to develop proactive talent pipelines to support Talent Management/Succession outcomes to meet future capabilities, ensuring robust succession bench strength to support the changing business environment. The position will also strategically partner with Executive Recruitment Pipelining and Sourcing, Talent Management, Talent Strategy & Innovation, Business Leaders, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Total Rewards and other key stakeholders. The position will have key responsibilities to comprehend business strategies and workforce plans while proactively assessing internal and external talent trends to support decision-making. Ensuring Bristol-Myers Squibb attracts and recruits top talent is essential to enable our teams across the organization to deliver our mission and business objectives for long-term value creation and for our patients. Key Accountabilities: Contribute to the development of strategic talent sourcing and engagement strategies that consistently attract top competitive talent by partnering across the Global Talent Acquisition (to include the Executive Talent Pipeline Sourcing Lead) and Talent Management Center of Expertise, Business Units, Human Resources functions (i.e., HRBPs, People Services, Total Rewards) and external networks. Deliver diverse candidate pipelines through competitive sourcing methodologies to include: candidate relationship management tool, artificial intelligence and other predictive tools, social media platforms, professional resource groups, external networks to include associations, academia, think-tanks, symposiums, conferences and congresses. Build strong collaborative relationships globally with Hiring Manager and HR Business Partners to support consistent and seamless recruitment delivery.
Strong external focus and networking to identify proactive hiring opportunities in alignment with talent management and workforce planning outcomes. Support development of competitive intelligence reporting to inform and influence decision-making to differentiate our company and attractiveness as an employer of choice. Serve as a Brand Ambassador, utilizing BMS' Employer Brand and Employee Value Proposition to effectively build relationships with external candidates over the short & long-term and to astutely market BMS opportunities to Executive talent. Support delivery of consistent dynamic and superior stakeholder and candidate experiences while adhering at all times to compliant recruiting and hiring practices. Sustain the highest level of professional business acumen in all interactions. Participate in industry-related meetings to promote our employer brand. Bring knowledge gained and results back into BMS for continuous improvement. Maintain and continue to expand third-party relationships (retained and contingent) while creating win-win partnerships between candidates, key business stakeholders, and vendors that support best practices globally. Leading procurement processing for 3rd party onboarding and usage. Partner with Total Rewards, Global Mobility, Global Procurement, Legal and Immigration to support offer development as well as share competitive intelligence and Market Reference data to support the evolution of competitive programs to continuously enable the attraction of top competitive talent. - Working with non-executive recruiting team to ensure sharing of talent. Requirements: 7+ years' recruiting experience: 3+ years dedicated to recruiting/sourcing engagement with executive talent and leaders within a Pharmaceutical/Biotech environment and/or within an executive retained search firm, strongly preferred Expert level of knowledge of the strategic life-cycle of recruiting (at the executive-level); including, but not limited to, sourcing, screening, candidate attraction, relationship building, reference checking and external networking Strong business acumen to comprehend the BioPharma industry; assessing current/future needs and trends globally and demonstrating the ability to succinctly translate knowledge to influence/support decision-making Strong contracting skills with the proven ability to establish rapport quickly and develop trusted relationships Strong ability to multi-task in a matrixed environment, while driving multiple projects with solid organizational and strong customer service capabilities with agility and speed Strong understanding and demonstration in leveraging advanced technology, tools, and capabilities to support the rapidly changing technological recruiting landscape (i.e., demand planning, social media, mobile/digital, artificial intelligence, and other predictive tools) Demonstrate ability to perform in an ethical and professional manner within a highly regulated environment while working with highly confidential information Demonstrate strong independent judgment and emotional maturity Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Fluency in Workday or similar applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools required Around the world, we are passionate about making an impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.
