Title:Senior Software EngineerLocation:San Diego, CA Are you an
ambitious, senior level Software Engineer with natural curiosity
looking to advance the state of the art in vacuum technologies used
in the semiconductor industry? If so, consider joining our
team.SCAI's Vacuum Technology Division is looking for a talented,
highly motivated, innovative and team-oriented Senior Level
Software Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience to analyze,
design, develop, integrate, and test for complex electro-mechanical
systems used in advanced semiconductor processing equipment.This is
a career level individual contributor position for a self-managing
Senior Software Engineer to join a small team of talented
cross-functional engineers working on R&D and production for
systems across a wide range of technology within the semiconductor
vacuum measurement and control fields.This will require C# with
WinForms for customer and development GUIs.Much of the work
involves data acquisition and analysis. Debugging is a large part
of the job - the candidate should be comfortable with occasionally
using a screwdriver or oscilloscope.Our products require utilizing
real time data acquisition and precise measurements of current,
voltage, and temperature along with real time data processing.If

and ExperienceBachelor's degree (or higher) in Software
Engineering, Electrical Engineering or another related field from
an accredited collegeMinimum 5 years ofrelevant full cycle software
development job experienceDemonstrated ability to design,
implement, and support softwareExpert at C# with WinForms SQL
(specifically Postgresql) and designing clean and scalable
schemasSource control, continuous integration, issue
trackingExperience with strong debugging and problem solving
mindset.Optimization skills are a plusPreferred Knowledge, Skills
and AbilitiesTCP and UDP for C# server/clientC and RTOS embedded
experienceVacuum measurement experienceExperience with software
control of electro-mechanical devices and / or machineryExperience
with the production of consumer devicesExperience with automated
calibration of metrology devicesExperience in data analysis using
Excel and Matlab (Octave) a strong plusRequired QualificationsThis
position is on-site at SCAI's R&D facility in San Diego CA.
