Job DescriptionJob Title: Systems Administrator for Navy systemsLocation: San Diego, CAUS Citizenship: RequiredJob Description:Technology Unlimited Group (TUG) is seeking motivated System Administrators for Navy Command and Control (C2) systems. In this role you will have the opportunity to apply your skills as part of our team, and directly support the Department of Defense (DoD). The position will be at the TUG office in Point Loma, CA and/or customer sites in San Diego. We are seeking engineers to add to our team to perform the full range of duties including software application patching, software installation, and cybersecurity. The job will entail but is not limited to:

• Integrating software applications and products for Navy Command and Control (C2) systems
• Automating system installations using PowerShell
• Conducting vulnerability scans and recognizing vulnerabilities in systems
• Ensuring that systems are protected from vulnerabilities
• Developing, integrating, and hardening baselines and iterations of those baselines
• Creating, authoring, reviewing, and validating System documentation
• Providing Fleet supportRequired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree from accredited university in the area of Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • Strong Microsoft Windows experience (OS Certification) and VMware experience
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with Cybersecurity Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) verification
  • Eligible for a Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance
  • Must pass Pre-Employment Drug Test
  • Proficiency in technical writing and oral communications skills
  • Ability to communicate well with project team members and customer representativesDesired Skills and Qualifications:In addition to the required skills, the ideal candidate should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Possess an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
    • Experience working in DoD COMPOSE and/or CANES environments
    • Administration of: Windows 7, 10 Home and Enterprise, Server 2016, Solaris 10, 11
    • Proficiency in VMware and Hyper V
    • Familiarity with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
