Join us at XiltriX North America based in San Diego. Our robust, real-time monitoring platform is used by clients in biotech, pharma, IVF/ART, bio-/ cryo-banking and R&D to protect their fragile scientific work, equipment and facilities, as well as to meet stringent compliance requirements. Our solution has been proven, and extensively used in Europe, Asia and the Middle East for over 30 years.As our Technical Support Specialist, you will play a key hands-on role in supporting our customers. You will be one of our In-House Gurus providing front-line support for our hardware and software platform.Responsibilities--- -Configure and test network connectivity between our customers' locations and AWS or our data center--- -Configure our real-time monitoring platform's software for our customers' specific needs--- -Work on-call to be reachable 24/7 on a rotating basis to respond to alarms, etc.--- -Travel 10% to 15% to troubleshoot customer installations.--- -Analyze and interpret data outputs from sensors and lab equipment to identify potential problems, improve processes, optimize the XiltriX system, and mitigate risks--- -System diagnosis and problem-solving using a data-driven approach in combination with the exercise of independent judgment and discretion--- -Interpret and comply with laboratory protocols, SOPs etc. to meet regulatory requirements and assure product reliability--- -Compile reports on progress, and to identify, resolve and inform on technical issuesMinimum Qualifications--- -Experience with IPv4 networks, VPN and firewall set up and configuration, data centers, and cloud applications--- -Able to provide on-call support and be reachable 24/7--- -Able to travel 10% to 15% to troubleshoot customer installations--- -Valid driver's license and car insurance with clean driving record--- -Able to solve technical problems as part of the interview process--- -Committed to excellent customer service and enjoys rolling up sleeves and getting hands dirty--- -Loves helping clients solve complex technical problems and may be a self-proclaimed "nerd"--- -Adaptable--- -Demonstrated fluency in English, both spoken and writtenIdeal Qualifications--- -Experience with EC2 and VPC, cryptography and cryptographic certificates, git, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Linux OSes, pfSense, programming or scripting language(s), and Zabbix monitoring (or similar)--- -Experience with AWS or Azure--- -Basic experience with electrical low voltage devices--- -Basic experience with refrigeration--- -Associate degree in Engineering, Technology or related from an accredited college or certifications--- -Certified as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or equivalent--- -Speaks basic SpanishWe are an Equal Opportunity EmployerPlease upload your resume.
