The ideal candidate must be a skilled team leader with strong negotiation and influencing skills, be able to work independently, handle multiple projects in parallel, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.TECHNICAL MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Our client is seeking a highly motivated and passionate project manager to support their team. This leader is primarily responsible for the definition, planning, execution, alignment, and communication for projects and initiatives.
  • Manage cross-functional product development core teams in the execution of deliverables and in adherence to internal business and quality system standards
  • Work closely with Hardware, Software, R&D, Commercial, Operations, Quality, and other departments to ensure program priorities and decisions are consistent between teams and corporate strategic plans
  • Develop project plans including formation of timelines with durations, dependencies, critical path, and milestones as well as distribute responsibilities to team members
  • Define, measure, and report key performance indicators, enabling team members to measure and improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • Lead solution-oriented team efforts to identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and remove obstacles with urgency
  • Lead the team through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
  • Ensure timely completion of documents required for the product design history file
  • Lead team through preparation of data reviews, phase gate reviews, and other go/ no go decisions required by Executive Leadership
  • Apply and maintain project management best practices
  • Develop and execute project management office initiatives
  • Inspire and motivate the team to achieve individual and program objectives
  • Ensure milestones are reached and deadlines are met throughout project lifecycle
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, application users, and program owners
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as requiredQUALIFCATIONS
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Life Science and/or MBA desired
    • Minimum 8+ years of Program / Project Management experience in the Lifescience/Biotech Industry, with 8+ years experience in product development preferred
    • Experience with both agile and waterfall project management, PMP Certification Preferred
    • Deep knowledge of Project / Program Management methods such as Project Schedule / Gantt, work breakdown structures, identification and optimization of the critical path is required
    • Understanding and experience driving projects through the product development process (PDP), taking a product from concept to market availability
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced culture
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; must be organized and efficient, with effective interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
    • Ability to proactively identify issues and address with solutions-oriented approach
    • Expertise designing, implementing and/or using collaboration tools such as: Box, Microsoft Office products, Asana, etc.
    • Experience working in FDA-regulated environments and leading core teams to successfully launch medical devices or IVD products is highly desiredAll applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
