Your most important work is ahead.If this sounds like the kind of environment where you can thrive, keep reading!We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sr. Software Engineer who currently possesses an active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance AND Java experience to join a high performing agile team using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology.You will support a nationally significant and fast-paced cryptographic key management program. The program employs DEVOPS best practices, robust development, test, and production environments, and utilizes Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) and test automation tools alongside team collaboration tools. Leidos is the prime contractor providing system engineering, development, test, integration, and operational support. The program focuses on injecting new technology and adding advanced capabilities over three years while supporting ongoing missions and operational systems.Your responsibilities include software development within an agile team, transforming stories into implementable concepts, developing, testing, and deploying new capabilities. You will implement robust testing leveraging DEVOPS automation, develop server-side logic, web applications, and UI components. Technologies involved include Java, Python, embedded C/C++, Java cryptographic frameworks, XML, web UI, and specialized device programming.You will analyze and resolve complex software issues, collaborate with experts to design, develop, debug, and enhance software components, provide technical leadership, participate in program planning, and ensure software quality and maintainability. You will use sound engineering principles and CASE tools to develop and maintain software infrastructure, working closely with other engineers to resolve technical challenges.*Qualified candidates are eligible for enhanced incentives including up to a $25K cash sign-on bonus.*Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a BS degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience or a Master's with 10-13 years of experience; Doctorate is a plus.
• Demonstrated development experience with Java.Additional Requirements:
  • Experience with Java/J2EE and one of Python, C/C++, SQL, SOAP, WSDL, WADL.
  • Experience with UI development, databases, and related technologies (XHTML, HTML, XML, XSLT).
  • Experience developing on Windows and Linux platforms.
  • Proficiency with tools like Eclipse, Postgres, Oracle, Jenkins on Windows.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or in teams.Security Clearance Requirement:Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with JEE, application servers, scripting, requirements management, secure systems engineering, and continuous integration.
    • Experience with Agile practices, including Pair Programming, TDD, Refactoring, ATDD, and tools like FITNesse, Mockito, Cucumber, UFT, Selenium.
    • Experience with BDD, TDD, and secure software development practices.
