Job Description:
Overview Build the next generation of ArcGIS Enterprise, a suite
of products delivering state-of-the-art mapping and analytics
capability to thousands of customers and millions of users
worldwide. Our team builds cutting-edge, highly scalable, and
reliable distributed software for on-premises, Kubernetes, and the
cloud; making maps, geographic information, and analyses available
on any device, anywhere, at any time. Our product engineers provide
a strong technical voice in the product development process and use
the best tools available to build highly reliable, sustained, and
evolutionary software. In this role, you will help us design,
build, certify, and deliver the next generation of ArcGIS
Enterprise. If you are passionate about geospatial technologies,
developing deep understanding of the product and customer needs,
contributing to design, and communicating effectively via writing
and presentations, this is the place to be! Responsibilities
Translate customer needs into technical requirements for future
ArcGIS Enterprise software releases Collaborate with product
engineers and development engineers on software project teams to
build new ArcGIS Enterprise software releases Be a strong voice
during design phase for server backend and UI development Develop
and implement test plans and test cases, write test code, and
verify code changes and bug fixes Review and analyze automated test
results, report status on software quality and stability, and
certify software quality Troubleshoot and triage customer issues
Share workflows in help topics, blog articles, presentations,
tutorials, and samples Be an advocate for the user and represent
the user in product design and delivery Requirements 2 years of
industry experience in software testing or software development
Experience developing and implementing test plans and test
automation for web services Fundamental understanding of APIs and
API design principles Fundamental understanding of web services
including REST and SOAP Experience working with Python, Java, or
other scripting languages Experience with test frameworks such as
Selenium, JUnit, or Ready API Experience translating customer needs
into technical requirements for the team Excellent problem solving
and analytical skills Proven ability to build and deliver quality
software in a team environment Effective time management and
organizational skills Bachelors in GIS, geography, engineering,
computer science, math, or related field Recommended Qualifications
Proven ability to define, manage, and deliver geospatial solutions
Demonstrable familiarity with Python or JavaScript for
troubleshooting and software testing as well as web protocols and

is one component of our total rewards strategy. Compensation
decisions and the base range for this role take into account many
factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and
training; licensure and certifications; and other business and
organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary
