day. The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible to manage,
maintain, and optimize OpenShift container platform and virtual
machine (VM) environments. The ideal candidate will ensure the
reliability, scalability, and security of infrastructure services
to support business-critical applications. The role requires
expertise in managing Kubernetes-based platforms (e.g., OpenShift)
and virtualization technologies, as well as experience in
automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Qualifications: •
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information
Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications or
equivalent experience will also be considered. Experience: •
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing OpenShift or
Kubernetes platforms. • Minimum 3 years of experience managing
virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, KVM). Skills: •
Strong knowledge of Linux system administration. • Proficiency in
container technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools
(e.g., Helm, Operators). • Experience with automation tools such as
Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins. • Strong understanding of
networking concepts (e.g., DNS, VLANs, load balancing). •
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of security best practices for infrastructure and
applications. Preferred Certifications: • Red Hat Certified
Specialist in OpenShift Administration. • VMware Certified
Professional (VCP) or similar virtualization certifications. •
Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). • ITIL Foundation Certification or
similar process-oriented certifications. Pay Transparency Laws in
some locations require disclosure of compensation-related
information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may
be above or below the range based on various factors including but
not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition
to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible
for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety
of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage,
voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability
insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time
off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for
this role is $80,080 - $104,000.
