Associate Attorney (Family Law) - San Diego, CAOne of San Diego's oldest and most prestigious law firms, seeks an Associate Attorney to join the Firm's Family Law Practice Group. • Assist supervising attorney in management of family law cases
  • Prepare letters, pleadings, declarations, lodgments, attachments to subpoenas, financial disclosures, mediation, and trial briefs
  • Propound and respond to discovery, prepare meet and confer letters, and prepare motions to compel
  • Telephone and email contact with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
  • Prepare deposition outlines and exhibits
    • Prepare witness questions for evidentiary hearings and trial
      • Conduct legal research and prepare memorandums
        • Track billable time Qualifications
          • Must be admitted to and in good standing with the California bar
            • Two to five years of family law experience desired
            • A fast learner with strong analytical skills and oral and written communication skills
            • Attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
            • Highly motivated professional who can take initiative and work well within a teamAnticipated Base Salary $115,000.00 - $165,000 Compensation will be commensurate with experience, salary is flexible depending on the candidatePrestigious Law Firm provides great environment and working atmosphere.
