Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year A bit about us: A midsized California law firm has an open position for experienced litigation paralegal to join their headquarter San Diego offices. Our client has multiple office locations across California and specializes in defending businesses and individuals in complex general liability, professional liability, labor and employment, class actions and insurance defense claims. We are seeking candidates with recent civil defense experience. The incoming paralegal will join a busy civil litigation support to a collaborative team of partners, senior attorneys, and associates in ongoing and pending litigation and trial matters. Core job responsibilities include: Conducting legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and Bloomberg Law Assisting with interrogatories and other discovery requests Summarizing written discovery and document productions Preparing complex medical chronologies Updating and maintaining internal databases Assisting in trial preparation Drafting, preparing, and organizing a variety of legal documents, including motions, briefs, petitions, and discovery documents.
